On Wednesday 28th January, P1- P7 pupils treated the senior citizens from our local community to an afternoon of song, dance and poetry to celebrate our national bard, Robert Burns. Children have been working hard to learn and perfect their Scottish poems, songs and dances.
Each class chose a Scottish theme to decorate a table for the senior citizens to enjoy their haggis, neeps and tatties during the performances. The children and senior citizens had a fantastic afternoon.
Children also performed their poem with their class and individually during Assembly.
