All of this week is Culture Week in Fernielea.

Today we said farewell to Carol Brazendale, our lollipop lady who has been helping our children and parents cross the road safely for the past 4 years. Two of our P3/4 pupils presented her with flowers and a gift.

Today we collected £242.10 for Sport Relief.
We had great fun in the cold and wet playground completing our NO-run-a-thon!

Well done to the Fernielea Team who were fantastic at the heats of the Rotary Primary Schools Quiz. They worked well as a team and represented the school perfectly. Congratulations to Hazlehead School for winning the heat.
All of the Sport Relief Bands are now sold out. We had 4 boxes of them and they are completely gone – Well done Fernielea!
I am aware that Sainsburys still have some in stock if anyone still wants to buy one.

Parenting is one of the hardest jobs in the world which doesn’t come with a manual. Don’t panic, this 7 session course offers parenting skills and tips to positively enhance your role as a Parent/Carer.
