Today we all joined together to have a whole school ceilidh. Mr Galbraith had taught everyone Scottish dances and we took the opportunity to show off how fantastic we are at Scottish Social Dancing.
P1 and P2 danced the Prince of Orange
P3 and P3/4 danced the Military Two Step
P5 and P7 danced the Dashing White Sergeant
P5/6 and P6 danced the Flying Scotsman (which they then taught to P5 and P7!)
P5 and P4 danced the Canadian Barn Dance
Some of the P7s were brave enough to learn and recite the Address to a Haggis Poem. All 8 verses of it! They were fantastic.

Some parents have been asking how they can help their child at home with reading, writing and counting.
There are some fabulous ideas on the Read, Write & Count website.
